Deploying Microsoft 365 apps (Office apps)


This step by step tutorial will take you through how to deploy the Microsoft 365 Apps (Microsoft Office suite apps) for Intune / Endpoint Manager.

Deploying the Microsoft 365 Apps is really fast and simple to do. You pretty much just follow the wizard and it is a great way for you to ease into deploying apps via Intune.

Apps - Windows -


Add -


Select App type - Windows 10


Microsoft 365 Apps for Windows 10 will appear
Select


App suite information
Edit if needed
Next


Configure app suite -
Select Office apps - Below is the default which is what I am deploying


Configure app suite - update as required.


Assignments -
The Microsoft 365 Apps are to be deployed to users that are receiving a Windows 10 Corporate device.
This means that the following groups need to be targeted to the following 3 groups.

The Windows 10 Corporate Device Category group (Dynamic Device Group)
The user group for recipients of Windows 10 corporate devices
The device group for Windows 10 corporate devices


The groups are now assigned
